About the position

The Warranty Parts Inspector is responsible for processing, inspecting, and validating warranty parts returned by BMW Group dealers. This role involves managing inbound and outbound warranty shipments, creating shipping documents, and entering shipment data into databases. The position requires operating equipment for handling goods and participating in special projects as assigned by leadership.

Responsibilities

• Process, inspect, and validate warranty parts returned by dealers.
• Manage loading and unloading of warranty shipments, both inbound and outbound.
• Create and maintain shipping documents for domestic and international shipments.
• Enter shipment data into respective databases.
• Operate equipment to stack and retrieve goods, supplies, and materials.
• Participate in special projects as assigned by leadership.
• Assist in cross-functional areas within the facility.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of Wholesale/Retail automotive or general warehouse/shipping experience

Nice-to-haves

• Associate degree
• Proficiency with Windows and experience with various Microsoft applications
