About the position

David Weekley Homes is seeking a Warranty Service Manager to join the Charlotte team. This role involves working independently and closely with customers, builders, and subcontractors to resolve warranty issues for homeowners. The Warranty Service Manager will inspect homes, determine warranty eligibility, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule all repairs with contractors and customers
  • Follow up, inspect, and ensure completion of all repairs
  • Hold contractors accountable for results
  • Instruct customers on home maintenance and communicate non-warrantable items
  • Manage budget for warranty resolutions
  • Perform minor repairs as needed
  • Handle multiple tasks and projects within designated timeframes
  • Effectively communicate and overcome objections in a professional manner
  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the home building industry and/or home repair
  • Experience in a customer service environment
  • Exceptional listening and communication skills
  • Strong time management, organizational, and scheduling skills
  • Ability to remain calm in confrontational situations
