About the position

The Washington National Tax Partner - International Tax at Crowe LLP is a senior leadership role responsible for guiding the International Tax community and building a high-performing team. This position focuses on executing Crowe's strategic priorities and expanding the Tax Business Unit through innovative practices and quantitative analysis tools. The role emphasizes compliance optimization, risk assessment, and enhancing tax planning strategies while fostering client relationships and business development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide multi-faceted leadership to the Washington National Tax - International team.
  • Support the execution of Crowe's strategic priorities and growth of the Tax Business Unit.
  • Represent Crowe in the International Tax community through involvement with industry groups.
  • Facilitate the development of a consultative practice by creating thought leadership and quantitative analysis tools for international taxation.
  • Ensure compliance, optimize tax planning strategies, assess risks, and minimize compliance costs.
  • Assist in expanding revenue by collaborating with practice offices on existing clients and external opportunities.
  • Mentor and develop team members through on-the-job technical training and coaching.
  • Manage client service teams and multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • CPA License or JD required.
  • 15+ years of public accounting, law firm, or related government experience.
  • Expertise in pass-thru entity and partnership tax.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven leadership and project management skills.

  • Experience with quantitative analysis tools for tax calculation and compliance optimization.
