About The Position

Copia Resources, Inc is looking for a Waste & Recycling Sorting Route Driver to join their team in San Diego, CA. This full-time position involves performing janitorial and porter duties, with a primary focus on maintaining cleanliness in trash enclosures across various properties. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work efficiently while following instructions from senior staff.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license (commercial license not required).
• Clean driving record of at least 1 year (1 point or less with approval from company's car insurance).
• Ability to work Monday - Friday from 3:45am to 12:15pm.
• Ability to repetitively lift 75+ lbs (furniture, appliances, household items).
• Ability to push and pull a wheeled bin weighing 600+ lbs.
• Ability to send emails, text messages, and picture messages by cell phone.
• Ability to make decisions and think outside of the box.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with waste management (not required).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial and porter duties to maintain cleanliness throughout the property.
• Walk the properties to ensure trash enclosures are clean and organized.
• Follow instructions from Senior Drivers, Field Operations Admin, and Route Supervisors.
• Drive and maneuver a trailer as needed.
• Represent Copia Resources Inc professionally while working with others.
