About the position
The Waste Treatment Assistant will support the quality control team in the waste treatment process within the Chrome Plating industry. This role involves assisting with quality control testing, treating wastewater, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the work area. The ideal candidate will possess attention to detail, teamwork skills, and a willingness to learn, contributing to the organization's success.
Responsibilities
- Assist with continuous quality control testing of acids and bases to maintain acceptable levels
- Treat wastewater
- Dispose of waste chemicals
- Clean and sanitize the work area
- Move 5-50 pound drums using a two-handed cart
Requirements
- No minimum experience required
- Ability to work Monday through Friday
