As a Wastewater Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the planning, design, and construction management of water and wastewater treatment systems. This position involves working closely with local and regional municipal clients to address complex water and wastewater challenges. You will be responsible for the design, permitting, and construction of various municipal utility projects, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Your expertise will be essential in managing multiple projects simultaneously, including transmission pipelines, water and reclaimed water distribution systems, storage systems, wastewater collection systems, pump stations, and treatment facility upgrades. In this role, you will conduct field investigations, prepare engineering reports, and develop cost estimates. You will also be involved in the preparation and review of design plans and technical specifications, providing field representation and office assistance throughout the construction phase. Your knowledge of hydraulic modeling software such as WaterCAD, SewerCAD, WaterGEMS, and SewerGEMs will be vital in executing these responsibilities effectively.
