About the position

Ardurra is seeking a Wastewater Process Engineer to join our Wastewater Group in Meridian, Idaho. This position is crucial for planning, designing, and managing multidiscipline projects that consist of process design and capital improvement projects for our clients. The ideal candidate will be capable of performing technical work that ranges from studies and master planning to detailed design on various projects. Additionally, the individual will serve as the Client Service Manager for Ardurra customers, ensuring effective communication, updating the status of existing projects, and developing ongoing new business opportunities. The primary duties of the Wastewater Process Engineer include performing studies and master plans for various projects, developing detailed designs, plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates. More specific responsibilities involve performing or managing engineering and process design, developing proposals in response to requests for proposals/qualifications, and leading Ardurra in teaming opportunities. The candidate must possess the ability to guide, direct, and coordinate with multiple departments and sub-consultants required for multi-discipline projects. Furthermore, the engineer should be able to create, calibrate, and suggest alternative plans, as well as interpret and communicate the results to others. Communication and business development duties with current and potential clients are also essential aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Perform studies and master plans for various projects
  • Develop detailed designs, plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited college
  • Minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in the wastewater market sector
  • Professional Engineer's license in the state or ability to gain licensure within 3 months of hire
  • Experience in managing production and treatment projects
  • Experience in design and construction management
  • Advanced understanding of principles and state regulations
  • Self-motivated and able to lead or assist a project team to completion of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
