About the position

H2M architects + engineers is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple wastewater facility projects from their Melville Office. The role involves managing project scope, schedule, and budget while serving as the primary contact for planning and design. The Project Manager will also coordinate quality assurance and assist in client development and proposal efforts.

Responsibilities

• Manage and serve as the Project Manager on wastewater projects.
• Be responsible for scope, schedule, and budget development and monitoring for projects being managed.
• Coordinate Quality Assurance/Quality Control of key deliverables and assist on projects managed by others.
• Assist Market Leaders with client development, opportunity research, and proposal development.
• Participate in professional societies relevant to the market.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with key decision makers in clients' organizations.
• Track the progress of multiple projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering, or related degree.
• 10 years of related experience in project management.
• PMP (PMI), CCM, or DBIA certification is a plus.
• Professional engineering (PE) license is strongly preferred.
• Experience working on and managing wastewater projects.
• Experience managing multi-discipline project teams.
• Excellent communication, networking, and team building skills.
• Experience working directly with clients.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering.
• Experience in client development and proposal writing.
