The Watcher Monitor position at Kettering Health involves serving as a key member of the interdisciplinary patient care team, focusing on patient monitoring and coordination of care activities within the unit. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with unit leadership to coordinate day-to-day activities of the patient care unit.
- Process patient records and maintain ongoing communication with nursing staff, physicians, and interdepartmental personnel.
- Serve as a resource for physicians and other healthcare team members regarding the electronic medical record.
- Play an integral role in the patient care experience, impacting the perception of care.
- Perform telemetry monitoring responsibilities as appropriate.
- Execute other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Successful completion of KH Health Unit Coordinator training upon hire into the role.
- CPR Certification.
- BLS Certification.
- Customer service experience.
Nice-to-haves
- 6 months experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
