About the position

The Fire & Water Restoration Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for overseeing restoration projects from initial contact through to completion, ensuring effective communication with homeowners, property managers, and insurance companies. This role requires a strong understanding of restoration processes, project management, and the ability to lead a team while adhering to safety protocols and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fire and water restoration projects from initial call to completion.
• Communicate effectively with homeowners, property managers, tenants, and insurance companies.
• Measure and sketch basic floor plans for restoration projects.
• Plan and write project scopes using Xactimate Estimating software.
• Enforce company job site safety rules and procedures.
• Accept job assignments and gather necessary information for project completion.
• Be available for emergency service calls on a 24/7 rotation basis.
• Lead technical tasks and encourage good work ethics among team members.
• Provide timely and accurate information related to loss and project status.

Requirements

• 12+ months of experience as a Senior Technician or Project Manager in fire and water damage restoration.
• IICRC certification or ability to be reinstated.
• Knowledge of Xactimate software and its application in restoration projects.
• Ability to measure and sketch basic floor plans.
• Understanding of insurance invoicing practices and job planning.
