This position involves managing technical projects, providing expertise in water systems, and collaborating with various stakeholders to address the operational and financial challenges faced by water systems. The role is ideal for individuals with a background in water utility operations or engineering, offering a chance to contribute to community capacity building and environmental finance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical projects related to water infrastructure.
• Work directly with water systems and community stakeholders to address their needs.
• Provide technical knowledge and expertise in water systems and engineering.
• Assist communities in accessing Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funding for water needs.
• Interpret and respond to community technical assistance requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, environmental science, environmental management, sustainability, biology, public health, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the utility, regulatory, engineering, consulting, financing, or planning field related to drinking water, wastewater, and/or stormwater.
• Ability to provide own transportation and proof of a valid driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

• Water/Wastewater Operator certification or Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.
