About the position

The Water Process Engineer - Chemical and Environmental at TSMC Arizona plays a crucial role in the Industrial Reclamation Water Plant (IRWP) by participating in the design and build-out of water treatment processes. This position requires a strong commitment to reliability and innovation, ensuring that the plant operates continuously without interruption while adhering to environmental regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Design Build IRWP process treatment build out.
• Plan, design, and verify water treatment systems.
• Conduct technical reviews and assessments of innovative technologies.
• Coordinate cross-organizational communication and problem-solving efforts.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, local, and AHJ regulations in system design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in environmental science or engineering.
• More than 2 years of professional experience in water treatment systems, preferably in semiconductor or mission-critical industries.
• Experience with water quality reports, PFDs, and mass flow balance for process waste streams.
• Project management and communication coordination skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with UPW, process wastewater, and industrial post-treatment facilities.
