About The Position
The City of Ontario is currently searching for dedicated candidates to join the team as Water Quality Specialists. These specialists serve in either the Environmental Programs Division or the Water Quality Programs Division, coordinating programs in water quality or commercial and industrial wastewater pretreatment. The role involves performing inspections, reviewing and issuing permits, ensuring compliance, and preparing regulatory reports. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of applicable Federal and State regulations, experience in water quality and wastewater pretreatment, and exceptional communication skills. The position is critical in enhancing the quality of life for residents and business owners by ensuring a clean and plentiful water supply.
