About the position

Chapman Technical Group is seeking an experienced Water Resources Civil Engineer to serve as a full-time Project Manager / Project Engineer. This role focuses on managing engineering projects related to water and wastewater infrastructure, ensuring high-quality work and client satisfaction. The position involves planning, design, and construction administration of utility projects, requiring strong communication skills and a commitment to professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects to ensure client satisfaction with high-quality work.
• Complete planning, design, and construction administration of utility infrastructure projects.
• Deliver fiscally responsive and operationally efficient solutions in partnership with local officials and service providers.
• Interact with clients during site visits and public meetings to communicate project details and updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• West Virginia PE registration.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in design and construction administration of water utility and wastewater utility infrastructure projects in a consulting environment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD including Civil 3D.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to plan project resources, maintain schedules, and stay within budget.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Desire and motivation to exceed expectations and continue professional growth.
