About the position
Disaster Kleenup Specialists is seeking Water Technicians who are dependable, energetic, and possess strong communication skills. The role involves working efficiently in high-demand situations, performing restoration tasks, and managing equipment on job sites. Candidates should be adaptable to an ever-changing environment and have a positive attitude. Certification in Water Mitigation is a plus but not required, as training will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Perform demolition tasks
- Conduct light carpentry work
- Engage in general cleaning and restoration
- Preserve all structural components
- Maintain clear and consistent communication among team members
- Manage equipment on job sites
- Report to the Project Supervisor for job assignments
- Complete assigned tasks daily
- Preserve structural items and contents as per Project Supervisor's instructions
- Inform Project Supervisor of equipment and materials needed for assignments
- Direct laborers in restoration protocols
- Document personnel hours and work performed during shifts
- Encourage safety practices among the labor force
- Perform miscellaneous tasks as required
Requirements
- IICRC Certification in Water Mitigation (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-demand situations
- Dependable and energetic attitude
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Drug-free with a reasonable driving record
Nice-to-haves
- Certification in Water Mitigation
- Experience in restoration or related fields
