About the position

The Water/Wastewater Engineering Manager will oversee municipal water and wastewater projects, focusing on design, bidding, and construction services. This role requires extensive experience in managing complex water and wastewater systems, with a strong emphasis on client relationships and project leadership within the Water Market Sector in New York State and the Northeast region.

Responsibilities

• Manage people and projects while generating new business with clients.
• Contribute to sustainable financial growth and develop followership.
• Lead high-performance teams to resolve conflicts and negotiate positive outcomes.
• Mentor future leaders and motivate employees.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the design of complex municipal water and wastewater systems.
• Strong technical background in design, evaluation, and construction of water and wastewater treatment and pumping facilities.
• Proven project leadership and project management skills (scope, schedule, and budget).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated successful track record in exceptional client services.
• B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineering license in New York required.
