About the position

Kleinfelder is seeking a Water / Wastewater Project Engineer with 4 - 6 years of experience to join their Design team in New Hampshire or Maine. This role involves contributing to a variety of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects, providing technical design support, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team. Responsibilities

• Develop technical design support on water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects while adhering to national and local requirements
• Perform calculations and convey results and processes effectively
• Help coordinate and/or lead project related field reconnaissance and site work
• Work as part of a design team and in multi-disciplinary groups and convey ideas and recommendations over technical expertise boundaries

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred) from an accredited program in Civil, Environmental, or a related engineering field
• Professional Engineer (PE) preferred, but all motivated individuals are encouraged to apply
• Excellent organizational, communication, computer and technical writing skills
• Experience in infrastructure design, preparation of design plans and specifications, including cost estimating, scheduling and permitting and construction preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
