About the position

The Maine Water Works Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in the implementation and oversight of the CRM project calendar, ensuring that all project timelines and deliverables are met efficiently. This position requires a proactive approach to discovering both perceived and unperceived customer needs, allowing the coordinator to implement appropriate value-driven solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and project success. The coordinator will be responsible for qualifying projects to determine if F.W. Webb can meet the specific project specifications, which involves a thorough understanding of the company's services and products. Building effective personal relationships with a broad base of key high-level customers is essential for this role. The coordinator will proactively seek value-added engineering opportunities and will be tasked with identifying and quantifying market opportunities, prioritizing them relative to other potential opportunities. Collaboration with cross-functional sales associates is necessary to communicate business opportunities effectively on both local and regional levels. The coordinator will work within a team structure to cross-sell customers across multiple channels, ensuring that all customer needs are met comprehensively. Additionally, the coordinator will be responsible for creating product and service awareness of Waterworks, with a core focus on the New England market. This includes communicating with internal purchasing and inside sales teams to streamline the procurement process and optimizing the quoting process to provide customers with consistent, timely, and competitive quotations that meet their demands. The role requires a strong emphasis on customer service and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for implementation and oversight of CRM project calendar.
  • Proactively discover customer's perceived and unperceived needs and implement appropriate value-driven solutions.
  • Qualify projects to determine if FW Webb can meet project specifications.

  • Work with cross-functional sales associates to properly communicate business opportunities on local, and regional basis.

  • Understanding of current F.W. Webb services, products, incentives and benefits.
  • Create product and service awareness of Waterworks with core focus on the New England market.
  • Communicate with internal purchasing, and inside sales teams to streamline procurement process.
  • Optimize quoting process to provide customers consistent, timely, and competitive quotations to meet demands.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in business, engineering, management, or related area required.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in related industry is preferred.
  • Strong technical skills along with solid mechanical aptitude a must.
  • High level relationship building skills.
  • Experience working in project or commercial sales a MUST.
  • Knowledge of commercial plan and spec and design build.
  • Comfortable communicating with engineers regarding critical systems.
  • Ability to work with and provide technical assistance to branch locations.
  • Experience with reading specifications and accurately identifying all relevant F. W. Webb product opportunities.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Experience working with all Window's Office Products - Excel a must.
  • High regard for customer service.
  • Strong ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
