About the position

The Waterfront Sales Specialist is a full-time sales role focused on driving revenue growth through effective client relationship management. The ideal candidate will engage with both residential and commercial clients, generate leads, negotiate contracts, and achieve sales targets, particularly in the construction or mechanical sales sectors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients through effective communication and follow-up.
• Generate leads, conduct site visits as needed, identify products and solutions for projects, and create estimates.
• Follow up on existing bids and influence decision makers.
• Engage with residential and commercial clients to showcase waterfront solutions.
• Build relationships with general contractors and engineering firms to support company growth.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales deals while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.
• Work trade shows or expos as needed.
• Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of the construction industry and subcontracting processes.
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep understanding of the company's products and the needs of its customers.
• Coachable with a strong work ethic.
• Self-motivated.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and CRM software.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in construction or mechanical sales.
• Familiarity with CRM type software.
