About the position

The Watershed Protection Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in maintaining positive customer relations for the Watershed Protection Division of Public Works. This position involves providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service to the public, addressing inquiries, complaints, and requests for services and information.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain positive customer relations by providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service to the public.
  • Provide customer services for service charges and adjustments according to City policies and procedures.
  • Handle purchasing and P-card transactions.
  • Process a variety of public records requests.
  • Assist with coordination of training events.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies.
  • Assist with budget preparations.
  • Manage billing, review and verify data, and maintain record systems; maintain administrative records, department correspondence, and reporting systems.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 2 years of customer service experience

Nice-to-haves

  • Texas Driver's License
