About the position

The Waterworks Operations Manager at Ferguson Enterprises is responsible for leading business operations in Northern California, focusing on customer-facing associates and branch functions. The manager will also be involved in strategic decision-making to enhance market share and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Supports enterprise business and sales objectives through effective management.
• Collaborates with key leaders to strengthen business operations.
• Implements improvements in processes, systems, or products.
• Maintains company policies and operational efficiency improvements.
• Leads the internal audit process for compliance with standards.
• Analyzes data to recommend specific courses of action.
• Ensures safety and security of the branch in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Supports the development of branch managers through coaching and mentoring.
• Implements processes to maintain and grow market share and customer loyalty.
• Identifies new opportunities for cost savings.
• Facilitates and develops SOPs for the organization.
• Participates in leadership meetings to represent associate concerns.
• Conducts regular associate and branch leadership meetings.
• Represents the organization to customers and leadership as needed.
• Grows market operationally through facility changes and HR moves.
• Manages facility maintenance needs for business and market requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, equivalent experience considered.
• 2+ years management/leadership experience preferred.
• Experience handling inventory and operational tasks.
• Advanced organizational and prioritization skills.
• Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations.
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
