About the position

The Waterworks Operations Manager at Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is responsible for leading business operations in Northern California, focusing on customer-facing associates and branch functions. This role involves managing processes, systems, and products to support enterprise business and sales objectives, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with organizational standards, and the development of branch managers through coaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Supports enterprise business and sales objectives through effective management.
• Collaborates with key leaders to build and strengthen business operations.
• Implements and maintains company policies and operational efficiency improvements.
• Leads the internal audit process to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Develops data-driven recommendations for business improvements.
• Maintains safety and security of the branch in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Supports the development of branch managers through coaching and mentoring.
• Identifies new opportunities for cost savings and facilitates SOP development.
• Participates in leadership meetings and represents associate concerns to management.
• Conducts regular associate and branch leadership meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, equivalent experience considered.
• 2+ years of management/leadership experience preferred.
• Advanced ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations to various organizational levels.
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
