About the position

The WE24 Conference Solutions Architect Summer 225 Internship at Verizon is designed for students attending the WE24 Conference hosted by the Society of Women Engineers. This internship provides an opportunity to collaborate with Solutions Architects and gain hands-on experience in digital transformation projects. Interns will develop a strong foundation in Verizon's technologies and solutions while building a professional network. The program emphasizes meaningful work, professional development, and the chance to present projects to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist Solutions Architects during clients' Digital Transformation journey.
• Engage in internship projects including research and design tasks.
• Attend internal and customer-facing meetings with the internship team.
• Build presentations to support the needs of the internship team and customers.
• Present project outcomes to the executive leadership team at the end of the internship.
• Participate in special innovation projects and suggest new ideas.

Requirements

• Confirmed attendance at the WE24 Conference hosted by the Society of Women Engineers on October 24th-26th, 224.
• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business/Accounting, Finance, or a related major with an expected completion date between December 225 and June 226.
• Willingness to work in Basking Ridge, NJ or Irving, TX.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

• Demonstrated strong analytical, communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
• Ability to effectively work independently and within a team environment.
• Ability to quickly learn and work with new emerging technologies in the cloud/IT technology space.
• Previous internship experience in a technology-related field.
• Proficiency with MS Suite and Google Suite productivity tools.
