LPL Financial (Nasdaq: LPLA) is dedicated to supporting financial advisors and ensuring they have the resources they need to provide personalized guidance to their clients. The Wealth Associate role is a vital position within this framework, focusing on providing administrative, client relationship, and investment support to financial advisors. This position is based in Braintree, MA, and requires the candidate to be present in the office five days a week, as it is not a remote opportunity. The Wealth Associate will play a crucial role in helping advisors maintain their practices and deliver positive results for their clients through various support tasks, including daily, monthly, and annual responsibilities, research, and reporting. The Wealth Associate will be responsible for managing a portion of client relationships within the advisor's book of business. This includes effectively delivering and launching sales processes, assisting in prospecting for new business, and expanding existing client relationships. The role requires a strong understanding of total wealth management solutions and the ability to assist financial advisors in presenting these solutions to clients. Additionally, the Wealth Associate will participate in portfolio performance reviews, analyze and interpret portfolio performance, and make recommendations for potential changes to financial advisors. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to adapt to a changing work environment while managing established clients.

Responsibilities

  • Support and manage a portion of client relationships in advisor team book of business
  • Effectively deliver and launch sales process discipline, helping to prospect for new business and expand client relationships
  • Possess knowledge and demonstrate ability to assist Financial Advisors in presenting total wealth management solutions and overall financial planning
  • Provide support for overall client relationship building and effective service model execution
  • Participate in portfolio performance reviews; analyze and interpret portfolio performance and make recommendations to financial advisors for potential change

Requirements

  • FINRA Series 7 & Series 66
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or Business Administration
  • Proactive self-starter that is organized with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong time management with competing priorities
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build and foster relationships with clients, coworkers, and internal/external partners
  • Ability to analyze and research information with a logical approach to problem solving
  • Proficiency in eMoney, CRM applications, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • 5 years of experience in wealth management, within the finance sector preferred
