About The Position

The Wealth Center Manager at HSBC is responsible for driving business performance through client acquisition, coaching, business development, and retention of client relationships. This role oversees the sales culture and operational activities of the wealth center, ensuring effective implementation of wealth management strategies to grow profitable Premier relationships. The manager will lead a team, contribute to overall growth, and represent the bank in the community, promoting HSBC's brand and services.

Requirements

  • Seven to ten years of proven wealth experience or equivalent, including a minimum of four years of management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Series 7, 63, 65 or 66, 9, 10, and life and health insurance licenses required.
  • Strong sales management, leadership, and coaching skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of credit approval processes and regulations impacting consumer banking activities.
  • Understanding of customer service concepts and their importance in account relationship management.
  • Ability to provide robust activity management through strong coaching and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Wealth Center business performance through acquisition and retention of client relationships.
  • Accountable for overall sales culture and operational activities of the wealth center.
  • Contribute to overall wealth center growth and business development.
  • Implement a wealth management planning-led strategy to grow profitable Premier relationships.
  • Manage Client Experience Associates and Premier Relationship Managers within the Wealth Center.
  • Ensure the Wealth Center meets and exceeds established sales and revenue goals.
  • Promote the HSBC brand in the market served and enhance the bank's profile in the community.
  • Drive customer recommendations and develop additional business through referral sources.
