As a Wealth Relationship Manager at Northern Trust, you will be responsible for providing asset management capabilities to Northern Trust Wealth Advisors. This role involves positioning FlexShares ETFs, Northern Multi Asset Class Solutions, Northern Funds, Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs), and Alternatives in the marketplace. You will establish new relationships, grow and service existing client relationships, and assist in procuring new opportunities. Collaboration with various business areas within Northern Trust is essential to succeed in this role. Your primary focus will be on developing, cultivating, and managing both existing and new relationships to achieve and exceed sales targets. You will lead tactical initiatives aimed at increasing the use of FlexShares ETFs and other investment products. A key aspect of your role will be to effectively position and differentiate these products against competitors by leveraging your strong investment and capital markets knowledge. You will maintain relationships with advisors through various communication methods, including in-person meetings, video calls, and digital communication. The position requires travel to Wealth offices in your region, estimated at 25-50%. You will also be responsible for reporting weekly activities, accomplishments, and opportunities through the CRM system, and you will work within a regional team structure. As a subject area expert, you will provide comprehensive consulting and leadership to your team and partners at a high technical level, ensuring a balance between operational execution and strategic direction.
