About the position

The Wealth Deposit Product Manager at M&T Bank is responsible for providing strategic direction for multiple product lines and services targeting major existing or new market segments. This role involves designing products, developing market strategies, and ensuring successful implementation while monitoring the achievement of goals. The manager will also formulate and implement policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with M&T's leadership values and commitment.

Responsibilities

• Sets strategic direction for assigned product lines and presents business plans to senior management and employees.
• Directly responsible for product pricing, cost structure, and product risk.
• Responsible for all product financials including revenue planning and product profitability.
• Responsible for sales channel strategy.
• Review new developments in company markets, evaluating and recommending new services, products, or modifications.
• Evaluate new product/service success; implement and manage changes in service or marketing strategy.
• Manage all aspects of new product implementation and existing product modification, including design and development of services.
• Establish marketing objectives and collaborate with other bank departments to develop effective programs.
• Ensure products/services are marketable, profitable, and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain awareness of new trends and developments in marketing and company products and services.
• Develop and provide ongoing training for staff regarding presentation skills, product knowledge, and best practices.
• Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls.
• Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
• Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
• Maintain internal control standards, including timely implementation of audit points and issues raised by regulators.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years' proven marketing, product management, financial, operations, and/or project management experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 14 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 10 years' proven marketing, product management, financial, operations, and/or project management experience.
