About the position

Wealth Management Associates play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to clients and supporting Financial Advisors (FAs) and Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs). This position focuses on building trusted relationships with clients, enhancing their experience, and assisting in various operational and business development tasks. The role requires strong interpersonal skills and a client-first mindset, with responsibilities spanning client support, business development, and operational support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide coverage for an FA/PWA/team, cultivating relationships with business partners and colleagues.
  • Support the FA/PWA/team in enhancing client relationships by delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Assist in delivering against the client service model, preparing for meetings, and tracking follow-ups.
  • Ensure timely performance of all client service functions, assigning work to team members as needed.
  • Provide backup coverage for Client Service Associate responsibilities, including executing transactions and answering client inquiries.
  • Remain current on policies, procedures, and new platforms, sharing best practices with the team.
  • Assist the FA/PWA/team in organizing and executing their business plan, partnering with market stakeholders.
  • Execute administrative elements of digital and in-person marketing strategies as directed by the FA/PWA/team.
  • Prepare and review client reports or financial plans for existing or prospective clients as requested.
  • Assist with research using firm-approved systems as requested by the FA/PWA/team.
  • Participate in client meetings, representing the service lens as requested by the FA/PWA/team.
  • Engage in firm initiatives, training programs, special projects, and other duties as directed by management.

Requirements

  • 5 years of work experience in a relevant field required.
  • Four-year college degree or professional certification preferred.
  • Active Series 7 (GS), and Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) and Series 65 (RA) required.
  • Additional product licenses may be required.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of financial services products including equities, bonds, options, mutual funds, annuities, insurance, and managed accounts.
  • Technically proficient and quick learner of new and updated platforms.
  • Detail-oriented with superior organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office (particularly MS Excel) and internet applications.
  • Exceptional writing, interpersonal, and client service skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate with others.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Adaptable and able to multi-task.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven.
