About the position

The Wealth Client Relationship Manager at TIAA is responsible for partnering with Wealth Management Advisors to deliver exceptional client service to high-net worth clients. This role involves operational leadership of advisory teams, focusing on helping clients achieve their financial goals through effective implementation of financial plans and asset consolidation. The position requires strong relationship management skills and a commitment to client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manages individual relationships with high-net worth clients across all products and services, focusing on building a book of business, strengthening relationships, and growing and retaining assets.
  • Leads advisory team practice management meetings to promote efficient and effective practices and supports the advisory team in overall book management strategy.
  • Provides client service and sales support as part of the Wealth Management advisory team, focusing primarily on advice implementation and asset consolidation coordination.
  • Guides clients on income execution, including assisting clients in completing forms and reviewing forms for accuracy.
  • Performs registered and non-registered activities related to identifying client needs and potential issues with current financial plans (estate planning, beneficiaries, etc.).
  • Identifies client concerns and gathers additional information regarding clients' current financial situation and potential future needs.
  • Identifies sales and asset retention opportunities.
  • Coordinates sales cycle management activities, including follow-through on asset growth opportunities to ensure timely sales execution.
  • Supervises client outreach and marketing campaigns as determined by the advisory team to educate clients on additional WM products and services.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of financial services experience required; 3+ years preferred.
  • Series 7, 63, and 65 (or 66) completed within 120 days of start date.
  • Life and Health Insurance License (Resident State) - Multiple Issuers required.
