About the position

As a Wealth Management Operations Coordinator at Farm Bureau Financial Services, you will play a crucial role in the brokerage operations processing team. This position requires a keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills, as you will be responsible for providing quality customer service and ensuring that agent advisors, customers, and internal staff are well-informed about the status of their accounts and service items. Your role will involve responding to customer service requests via phone and email, adhering to Farm Bureau policies and clearing firm guidelines to resolve issues promptly and efficiently. You will also ensure the accuracy of processing functions, verifying suitability and compliance with current regulations. In addition to customer service, you will be tasked with cross-training in direct business and sales support, which includes establishing and servicing deposits and retirement account contributions, managing distributions and withdrawals, and sending email notifications to agents. Monthly account audits and general account maintenance will also be part of your responsibilities. You will provide operational support for various projects and product development/maintenance, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve customer service requests via phone and email according to Farm Bureau policies and clearing firm guidelines in a prompt and efficient way.
  • Ensure accuracy of processing functions and verify suitability and compliance.
  • Cross train in direct business and sales support.
  • Establish and service deposits and retirement account contributions in a broker/dealer environment.
  • Manage distributions and withdrawals for client accounts.
  • Send email notifications to agents regarding account statuses.
  • Conduct monthly account audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Handle online service requests and general account maintenance.
  • Provide operational support for projects and product development/maintenance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required plus one year of relevant experience required.
  • Associates degree or similar insurance/financial service work experience preferred.
  • Knowledgeable regarding the application of current tax laws and regulations.
  • Strong computer skills (Word and Excel) required.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and training skills are required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the Broker/Dealer industry is preferred.
