About the position

The Simmons Bank Private Wealth Internship offers current college students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in investment asset management and client relations. Interns will work closely with an experienced Portfolio Manager, participating in various projects and tasks that contribute to the team's success while receiving mentorship and professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Portfolio Manager on various projects and client-related tasks.
• Assist with portfolio management processes, reporting, and data entry using different systems.
• Take detailed notes during meetings with prospective and current clients.
• Participate in professional development activities, including industry conferences and networking opportunities.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in business or a related field, with at least sophomore standing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management, project management, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Positive attitude, ability to learn quickly, and a team-oriented mindset.
