About the position

The US Wealth Operations Specialist I is an entry-level role within TD Wealth that focuses on performing specialized operational tasks to support various lines of business in Wealth Management. This position involves administrative support, transaction processing, and client communication, ensuring adherence to established policies and quality standards. The role is designed for individuals looking to start their career in wealth operations, providing opportunities for growth and skill development.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic administrative support tasks while maintaining quality in reporting and client communication.
• Become competent in at least one core Wealth System and other role-specific systems as needed.
• Perform basic processing of transactions and ensure they are confirmed and entered into the system according to policies.
• Resolve transaction issues by communicating with client-facing advisors, clients, and third-party advisors.
• Prepare detailed information and reports on transactions and accounts as needed with oversight.
• Provide direction and answers to basic questions as needed.
• Support client-facing CSAs through Trackers, phones, and email.
• Review basic reconciliation breaks.

Requirements

• Undergraduate Degree or High School Diploma with 3+ years related experience required.
• Minimum of Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) and Series 99 registration required; must acquire if hired without licenses.
• Knowledge of accounting entries and procedures.
• Knowledge of trust operations processes.
• Strong arithmetic skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Time management skills and interpersonal skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• PC skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in wealth management or financial services.
• Familiarity with additional financial software and systems.
