About the position

Citizens Private Bank is on an accelerated path to enhance its Wealth Management services, expand Business Banking, and grow deposits in key markets. We are seeking a Wealth Portfolio Manager III who will play a crucial role in managing client portfolios for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and institutional accounts. This position is part of the Wealth Portfolio Management Group, which is responsible for the day-to-day management of client portfolios, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements while delivering exceptional service. The Wealth Portfolio Manager will work closely with internal teams to understand client needs and restrictions, ensuring that portfolios are managed effectively to align with client expectations and firm strategies. In this middle office role, the Wealth Portfolio Manager will manage investment, trust, and institutional accounts, rebalance portfolios according to the client's investment policy statement, and collaborate with the asset allocation strategy team and advisors. Responsibilities include allocating initial funding, conducting annual and initial account reviews, managing concentrated assets, and developing divestiture plans. The role also involves reviewing and resolving exception reports related to asset allocation and performance, as well as developing investment plans that align with both client expectations and firm strategies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of client relationships and a passion for investment solutions, particularly in the ultra-high-net-worth space.

Responsibilities

  • Manage investment, trust, and institutional accounts.
  • Rebalance accounts according to the client's investment policy statement, with guidance from the asset allocation strategy team and advisor team.
  • Allocate initial funding and conduct annual account reviews.
  • Manage concentrated assets and develop divestiture plans.
  • Review and resolve exception reporting related to asset allocation and performance exceptions.
  • Develop investment plans for accounts to align with firm strategy and client expectations.

Requirements

  • Significant work experience in the financial services industry required.
  • Demonstrated passion and understanding of investment solutions.
  • In-depth experience in ultra-high-net-worth investment offerings, leveraging sophisticated investment products.
  • 3-10 years of experience with investment portfolio construction.
  • 3-10 years of experience with asset allocation review.

Nice-to-haves
