About the position

The Meta Reality Labs Partnerships team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead new product partnerships in the emerging technology space. This role involves driving partnerships with healthcare entities, managing relationships, and supporting product teams to bring wearable products to market. The candidate will work across various sectors, including vision insurance and flexible benefit managers, to create and execute strategies for integrating wearables into healthcare benefits.

Responsibilities

• Define, negotiate, and close complex joint development, marketing, and product partnerships deals.
• Create new partnerships for hardware and software development with the U.S. healthcare industry, including health insurers and HR benefits consultants.
• Co-define and execute strategies to allow insurance members to use their benefits to purchase wearables with prescription lenses.
• Manage strategy and relationships with managed vision care companies to develop innovative reimbursement structures.
• Develop and drive external partner strategy for new Healthtech products that can influence roadmaps.
• Work cross-functionally with product management, marketing, legal, finance, and engineering teams to negotiate deal terms and advocate for partners.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on the U.S. insurance ecosystem for the partnerships team.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree
• 10+ years of work experience, including 5+ years of business development experience
• Experience structuring and negotiating complex partnership agreements
• Experience working in managed vision care companies in a business development, strategy, or product function
• Experience interpreting legal terms and negotiating agreements
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to complete deals
• Knowledge of industry dynamics for vision, medical, health systems, and flexible benefits managers.
