About The Position

The Weatherization Program Director at HRDC7 is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and implementation of the Weatherization programs. This role ensures compliance with state and federal guidelines, oversees daily operations, and acts as a liaison between staff and related agencies. The director will manage budgets, evaluate programs, and ensure effective staff performance while promoting the agency's mission to empower low-income individuals and families.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
  • Five years of supervisory experience, preferably in building trades.
  • Construction and mechanical experience is desired.
  • Knowledge of energy-saving techniques such as air sealing and duct sealing.
  • Valid Montana Driver's License and proof of personal automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, administer, and monitor program operating budgets and expenditures.
  • Establish procedures for the completion of multiple contracts following federal and state regulations.
  • Review energy audit results for SIR compliance.
  • Manage the purchase of materials and supplies for the Weatherization program.
  • Ensure Weatherization vehicles are maintained and in proper working condition.
  • Establish and enforce safety procedures and protocols for the Weatherization program.
  • Provide timely reports as required by respective programs and agency requirements.
  • Attend and conduct meetings for staff training on program policy changes and safety procedures.
  • Assist in expanding the agency's participation and services in District 7.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.
