About the position

We are seeking a highly qualified and creative WordPress website front end designer to join our website design team. This role involves rapidly developing 10-20 page website projects from inception to deployment, including graphic design, copywriting, and creative design elements. The designer will work closely with clients and the Sales Team, ensuring that projects align with client needs and branding guidelines. This position offers significant growth opportunities in both responsibility and compensation within a supportive and dedicated organization.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly develop 10-20 page website projects from inception to deployment.
• Create and customize WordPress Elementor powered templates/mockups to match client needs.
• Ensure consistency in design elements with the client's brand guidelines.
• Craft persuasive and engaging copy that communicates effectively and drives user action.
• Integrate a wide range of WordPress plugins, API calls, and third-party apps/forms.
• Apply best practices for analytics, SEO, and user experience.
• Manage web development projects and collaborate with outside partners/agencies for complex needs.
• Conduct in-person consultations with clients for design direction.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in WordPress development.
• Experience with Elementor - WordPress Page Builder or equivalent.
• Strong creative design capabilities and ability to conceptualize a website from the ground up.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and capable of self-managing in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong design sensibility and creative problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both in person and in writing.

Nice-to-haves

• Ability to write content as needed and improve content provided by clients.
• Proficient in engaging with clients for design consultations and delivering design concepts in presentations.
