About the position

The Web and Digital Interface Designer - Level II role at Trinity IT involves supporting UX/UI design and engineering projects for the U.S. Navy. The designer will be responsible for creating, developing, and testing web layouts and functionalities while ensuring compliance with accessibility standards. This position is contingent upon the award of the contract.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software developers to complete the full scope of the project.
• Conduct user research to determine design requirements and analyze user feedback to improve design quality.
• Document technical factors such as server load, bandwidth, database performance, browser and device types.
• Develop or implement procedures for ongoing website revision.
• Research and apply innovative solutions for product design, visuals, and user experience to meet the needs for the project.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in web design, computer science, or related field OR 4 years of experience in web designing projects / other certifications.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in web and digital interface design.
• Active Dept. of Defense Secret Clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• AWS EC2, Transact-SQL, or other database user interface & query software experience.
• jQuery, Apache Spark, or other Development environment software.
• jUnit or other program testing software experience.
• Active Dept. of Defense Top Secret Clearance.
