About the position

The Web and Mobile App Development Manager will manage the organization's digital initiatives and overall strategy to maximize brand awareness, consumer experience, and support the integrated marketing strategy. This role is pivotal in working closely with various members of the Pathways.org team, including marketing, designers, and stakeholders, to optimize the reach and digital presence of Pathways.org's products and information on children's development. The ideal candidate will be passionate about health education and believe that every parent should have access to information on their child's health and development. In this position, the manager will analyze key metrics and performance data to measure the success of web and mobile app initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions. Staying informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies will be essential to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation. The manager will also develop, manage, and update the digital analytics strategy, review web and app databases using SQL, and identify KPIs and other metrics for impactful insights on how these channels contribute to the Pathways.org Mission. The role involves overseeing the Digital Marketing Analyst to collect, filter, and process statistical data derived from marketing efforts and translate it into actionable insights. The manager will keep track of marketing initiatives and compile reports on KPIs, such as conversion rates, site traffic growth, and customer satisfaction rates. Spotting crucial growth opportunities and identifying areas where analytics capacities are lacking will be part of the job. Additionally, the manager will drive user engagement, optimize customer experiences, and increase conversion rates by developing and optimizing landing pages and conversion funnel A/B tests. Managing the implementation of SEO initiatives and working with agency partnerships will also be key responsibilities. Responsibilities

  • Analyze key metrics and performance data to measure the success of web and mobile app initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Develop, manage, and update our digital analytics strategy.
  • Review web and app database using SQL, identifying KPIs and other metrics for impactful insights on how these channels are contributing to the Pathways.org Mission.
  • Oversee Digital Marketing Analyst to collect, filter, and process statistical data derived from our marketing efforts and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Keep track of our marketing initiatives and compile reports on KPIs, such as conversion rates, site traffic growth, and customer satisfaction rates.
  • Spot crucial growth opportunities and identify areas in which our analytics capacities are lacking.
  • Gauge the effectiveness of our current analytics tools and solutions, pinpointing improvement areas, and suggest alternatives.
  • Analyze target market segments and traffic trends for optimization and content opportunities.
  • Drive user engagement, optimize customer experiences, and increase conversion rates.
  • Develop and optimize landing pages and conversion funnel A/B tests to improve conversion.
  • Manage implementation of SEO initiatives, including managing agency partnerships and working with internal creative teams to optimize the website.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Masters in tech, information design, strategy or related field preferred.
  • 4+ years experience in website analytics and SEO management.
  • Deep knowledge of online marketing metrics and reporting tied to SEO, advertising, social media, user journeys, segmentation and personas, user experience, survey and feedback tools, website reporting tools, and customer experience/web analytics.
  • Extensive experience with various marketing and business intelligence technologies, e.g. Google AdWords, Google Search Console, Social Media Ad Platforms, YouTube Analytics, SEMRush, Google Tag Manager, etc., with expertise in Google Analytics and SQL.
  • Deep understanding of the customer journey, user experience, and analytics.
  • Proven track record and deep understanding of increasing user experience and strategies for increasing digital reach and user experience.
  • Experience with mobile app analytics tools and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with design thinking principles and UX/UI best practices.
  • Passion for mobile technology and a drive to deliver exceptional user experiences.
  • Able to present concepts clearly and accurately and to keep others informed.
  • Self-starting, capable of working independently while also functioning and contributing as part of a fast-paced team.
  • Organized and able to prioritize projects and meet multiple deadlines.
