About the position

Palantir is seeking a frontend engineer for its defense product vertical, which focuses on developing mission-critical applications for military operations. This role involves creating user-friendly interfaces for complex data workflows, ensuring that non-technical users can effectively utilize the software. The engineer will engage with users to understand their needs, collaborate with backend engineers, and tackle sophisticated technical challenges to enhance the product's functionality.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop user interfaces for defense applications.
• Engage with users to gather feedback and identify product gaps.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define APIs and schemas.
• Design frameworks for complex workflows across applications.
• Build real-time collaborative tools and data-analysis solutions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of frontend software engineering experience.
• Strong coding skills in JavaScript and familiarity with web technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Eligibility and willingness to obtain a US Security clearance.
