The Web Application Developer, Front End, plays a crucial role in this initiative by participating in the design and development of web applications that support online learners. This position emphasizes front-end web development, utilizing a variety of technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, WordPress, Vue.js, and React. The developer will also engage in back-end development to facilitate communication between client-facing applications and back-end systems such as CRM, SIS, LMS, and ERP applications. In a collaborative and agile environment, the Front End Web Application Developer will work closely with the Senior Web Application Developer to implement web application technologies that align with the strategic goals of the division and the University. This role involves working with various technology innovation teams to support marketing and communication efforts at scale. The position offers a salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience, and may allow for a hybrid working arrangement. The developer will be responsible for analyzing, developing, deploying, and supporting integrations with enterprise web applications, ensuring high data integrity and security. They will lead and manage critical projects, collaborate with campus partners to define needs, and stay updated on emerging technologies. Additionally, the developer will design and analyze metrics, create reports for senior staff, and participate in management meetings to address departmental concerns. This role also includes participation in special projects and committees within Digital Learning, contributing to the implementation of new services and programs.
