About the position

As a Web Application Developer specializing in the LAMP stack at General Dynamics Mission Systems, you will be part of a cross-functional team focused on developing enterprise-class systems and integrating specialized Linux OS solutions. This role involves supporting customer missions and requires a strong understanding of web services and software development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise-class systems using the LAMP stack.
• Integrate specialized Linux OS (PitBull) solutions.
• Support customer missions with cross-domain solutions.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience plus 8 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 6 years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain a Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance at the time of hire.
• Demonstrated ability to program in at least one programming language (e.g., C#, Python, JavaScript) and other scripting languages (e.g., HTML5, CSS, JSON, PHP).
• Strong understanding of solutions development methodologies (e.g., DevOps, Agile, Software Development Lifecycle).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SaaS-based applications development.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices.
• Knowledge of RDMSs such as Postgres and Oracle.
• Current and Active TS/SCI Clearance.
