As a Web Application Developer, you will be responsible for the advanced development and enhancement of web applications utilizing .NET technologies, with a strong emphasis on RESTful API design and integration. Your role will involve implementing server-less architecture using AWS services such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB. You will design and develop APIs that facilitate cross-platform integration, ensuring that these solutions are scalable and secure. In addition to development, you will oversee the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which includes planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of applications. You will effectively utilize AWS cloud services for application hosting, scaling, and management, while also implementing and managing cloud-based solutions that are cost-effective and compliant with security standards. Client engagement is a key aspect of this role, as you will collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate these into technical requirements. You will be responsible for developing detailed technical specifications and architecture diagrams for client approval, and you will need to communicate complex technical solutions effectively to non-technical stakeholders. As a software engineer, you will advocate for and implement best practices in software engineering, focusing on clean code, design patterns, and efficient algorithms. You will lead the adoption of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps to streamline deployments. Ensuring the security and privacy of web applications by implementing best practices in cloud security will also be part of your responsibilities. Quality assurance and performance optimization are critical components of your role. You will develop robust testing strategies that encompass unit, integration, and performance testing, while optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability by leveraging serverless architectures and cloud services. Addressing and rectifying any issues or bugs in a timely and efficient manner will be essential to maintaining high-quality applications.
