About the position

The Web Applications Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting applications for the client. This role involves working on complex projects, taking ownership of specific features or modules, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. This is a contract position based in Lawrenceville, GA, with a duration of over 8 months.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and support of web applications.
  • Take ownership of specific features or modules within applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Work on complex projects and ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related technical field.
  • 5 years of hands-on experience in software development, particularly in full stack development, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with Python, React, and other modern programming languages and frameworks.
  • Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases, including schema design and query optimization.
  • Familiarity with development tools and practices, including CI/CD and automated testing.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and modern network communication.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to project success.
  • Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub Enterprise.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to evolving user requirements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with advanced JavaScript frameworks like Angular or Vue.js.
  • Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or Jenkins.
  • Experience with testing methodologies and monitoring tools to ensure software reliability.
