About the position

The Web Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that enhance member experience and streamline operational efficiency at TruMark Financial Credit Union. This role involves creating intuitive user interfaces, ensuring application security, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business needs while implementing cutting-edge technologies to optimize processes and improve member service.

Responsibilities

• Develop reusable, scalable code to optimize member experience and enhance operational efficiency across web applications.
• Design and develop Rich User interfaces using client-side technologies such as JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, ReactJS, Bootstrap, CSS, and HTML to deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Ensure application security by adhering to best coding practices, implementing security protocols, and continuously monitoring vulnerabilities.
• Perform rigorous testing and debugging to ensure the stability, performance, and security of web applications.
• Design and implement seamless, intuitive user interfaces and experiences that align with business goals.
• Develop and maintain internal web applications to support IT services and other departmental functions.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and SSIS packages to support data management, reporting, and process automation.
• Generate custom reports using SSRS or related reporting systems based on business needs and departmental requests.
• Provide accurate, timely data and reports from various systems to support decision-making processes.

Requirements

• Experience in web application development using JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, ReactJS, Bootstrap, CSS, and HTML.
• Strong understanding of application security best practices and protocols.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with SSIS for data management and reporting.
• Ability to perform testing and debugging of web applications.
• Experience in creating user interfaces that align with business goals.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with SSRS or related reporting systems.
• Experience in developing internal web applications for IT services.
