About the position

The Web Automation Developer Engineer at SJ Technologies Inc is responsible for developing custom web applications and components that enhance user experience and support internal team functionality. This role involves the entire development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to design and production deployment, utilizing a variety of programming languages and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom programs for websites to attract and appeal to users.
• Create web applications and components from the requirements stage through to production deployment.
• Design and implement user-driven templates using modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular or ReactJS.
• Develop database-driven web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing.
• Manage and maintain content for a web presence across three domains, including site design and content updates.
• Engage in an agile scrum delivery model as part of a team.
• Develop loosely coupled Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to expose data to multiple consumer types.
• Incorporate automated and manual test management capabilities for web projects.
• Provide database design, development, and maintenance for test-related web projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5-8 years of web development experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and solve problems in a dynamic work environment.

• Experience with independent testing, data verification, and validation.
