About the position

The Web Customer Service Associate plays a crucial role in the ecommerce team at Puetz Golf Superstores, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through digital channels and phone interactions. This position requires a strong knowledge of golf and related products, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The associate will also assist with order processing and shipping tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility in their role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current knowledge of golf products, terminology, company/merchandise promotions and sales events.
• Adapt to an ever-changing digital market.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or other sources in a quick and professional manner.
• Research, locate, and provide appropriate product or information for customers requiring assistance with Puetz online services.
• Fulfill customer orders correctly.
• Responsible for picking/pulling/ordering product from inventory, and packing boxes for shipment.
• Research merchandise availability via computer database, maintaining stock as necessary.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent listening skills and the ability to understand a customer's needs in order to respond to their inquiry efficiently.
• A positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to learn POS and fulfillment operating systems.
• Ability to create and list inventory product in POS and ecommerce platform.
• Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to work in the warehouse.
• Ability to keep and communicate accurate records.
• Basic mathematical skills related to completing customer order transactions.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge and personal experience in Golf, golf-related products, or sporting goods is strongly desired.
• Minimum 12 months of related experience in golf, golf products, or golf service.
