About the position

The Web Designer at Public Consulting Group (PCG) is responsible for developing mockups, website layouts, and components using UI/UX principles. This role involves making updates to managed websites while ensuring that changes align with project requirements. The Web Designer collaborates with the web design team on new projects, conceptualizing and implementing creative ideas for client websites, and creating visual elements that adhere to branding guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop mockups, website layouts, and components using UI/UX principles.
• Make updates to managed websites ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborate with other members of the web design team on new projects.
• Conceptualize and implement creative ideas for client websites.
• Create visual elements in line with the company's and/or clients' branding guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a design discipline or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in web design.
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS and some ability with JavaScript libraries.
• Experience with platforms like Squarespace and WordPress.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud: Illustrator, Photoshop, and XD.
• Strong organizational, project, and time management skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate design ideas and implement design direction.
• Ability to collaborate with project teams and clients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Adobe Workfront.
