About the position

The Web Designer position at our client's IT startup involves planning and creating the visual aspects of various websites, primarily focusing on WordPress and WooCommerce platforms. The role requires a blend of graphic design skills and technical knowledge to enhance the user experience and functionality of the websites maintained by the company.

Responsibilities

• Plan and create the look and layout of the company's websites.
• Design features for various client websites.
• Ensure websites are optimized for user experience and functionality.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and preferences.
• Maintain and update existing websites as needed.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years' work experience as a Web Designer.
• Strong graphic design skills, supported by a design portfolio.
• Knowledge of and experience with WordPress is essential.
• Good understanding of Search Engine Optimization principles.
• Proficiency in PHP and MySQL is required.
• Strong documentation skills for clarity and quality of documents.
• Problem-solving abilities to address design challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Experience with WooCommerce and eCommerce platforms.
