About the position

The Web Designer at AXS will be responsible for crafting responsive and accessible websites for the entertainment and sports industries. This role involves creating strategic user experiences, collaborating with developers, and ensuring designs align with client brand guidelines while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Designs according to requirements documentation and brand guidelines.
• Crafts responsive and accessible websites using web design software.
• Creates wireframes using existing internal UI/UX patterns or customized based on client scope.
• Prepares designs for production.
• Designs discovery and presentation meetings with clients.
• Works collaboratively with developers to execute design vision.
• Conducts quality control on designs.

Requirements

• AA/AS Degree (2-year) in a creative/web design program or equivalent work experience in a related field/role.
• 2-4 years experience designing for digital.
• Experience with Figma.
• Understanding of typography, color, and layout skills.
• Proficiency in UX Design.
• Understanding of usability principles and web standards.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies - HTML and CSS.
• Ability to quickly prototype new designs and features.
