About the position

The Web Designer/Developer II position at Ampcus, Inc. involves building, developing, and designing web pages using a content management system (Drupal) along with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The role requires a blend of web design and video editing skills, focusing on creating engaging content and enhancing user experience across various digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web analytics and video production, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop and design pages within a website content management system (Drupal) using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Write, edit, and publish engaging content for the website and various platforms.
• Design, code, and implement new user experience functionality for websites and digital assets.
• Maintain websites using authoring or scripting languages and content creation tools.
• Evaluate code to ensure validity, structure, and compatibility with browsers and devices.
• Translate custom designs into functional, responsive web experiences within Drupal CMS.
• Enhance user experience by approaching design from the end-user perspective.
• Edit a variety of video projects to support operations.
• Create motion graphics for video collateral.
• Standardize templates for re-use and manage multiple projects with overlapping priorities.
• Work closely with the Strategy and Operation Department to maintain deadlines.
• Manage work tasks using Jira, Slack, and Google Docs.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a creative role/environment.
• Experience with web design, CMS, Drupal, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Dreamweaver).
• Comprehension of video production, editing, and export settings.
• Experience in project management, traffic, or asset management.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality work.
